Job Description Job Description Sr. Superintendent Superintendent Position Overview The Superintendent will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various K-12 educational and other public work construction projects. This role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements while leading a team of professionals to deliver high-quality results. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate public works and K-12 construction projects from inception to completion. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety guidelines. Oversee personnel management and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors. Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders and clients. Implement quality control measures to ensure project specifications are met. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project success. Address any project-related issues or challenges promptly and effectively. Qualifications Proven experience as a Superintendent in Public works and education projects. Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices. Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to educational facilities. Excellent personnel management and leadership skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in managing multi-family, charter, public works, commercial, library, fire station, parks, and schools projects is a plus. Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
