Job Description:
Min 2 yrs of experience working in production in a mfg setting,
especially with small electromechanical parts. Manual dexterity,
flexibility and teamwork, good mechanical aptitude skills, ability
to read basic engineering drawings, aptitude for cross training,
ability to lift up to 20 lbs, basic command of Eng, including
speaking and understanding and working knowledge of Spanish or
Vietnamese a plus. Assembler performs most of the tasks required
for the assembly of various types of sensors and custom coils
manufactured at MSC. Prepares material for assembly, including
reviewing drawings, cutting wire, degreasing components and dipping
soldering, among the other tasks. Solders leads, connectors and
wires. Performs a variety of winding activities. Performs wire
hookup functions. Sets up and mixes epoxy and uses dispensers
correctly. Marks parts as required, including shrink tubing and
cases. Hooks up connectors as per drawing specifications. Performs
a variety of testing activities as required, including measuring
and checking.
