The role encompasses administrative coverage in the absence of
Directors and is accountable for the management of operations and
the supervision of licensed and unlicensed staff.
Education: See License and Certification.
Experience: Progressive experience in nursing with a minimum of one
year's experience in a leadership capacity. Supervisory experience
in dealing with personnel problems and human relations. A minimum
of two years experience in an acute care setting is required
Knowledge and Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English
both orally and in writing. Able to work in a fast-paced
environment; and manage/prioritize/complete work assignments and
other duties, as assigned. Demonstrated leadership skills through
collaborative practice, demonstrated time management skills to the
satisfaction of the director.
License/Certifications: Current RN license to practice nursing in
the state of California. A current American Heart Association (AHA)
BLS card is required.
