Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coder Physician.
Key Responsibilities
Abstract, code, and sequence clinical information from various
medical records
Assign correct diagnoses and procedure codes while ensuring
accurate sequencing
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and coding
guidelines
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding
Certificate Program
A minimum of five years of current production coding experience in
relevant pro fee
Must possess certifications such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS,
and/or CCS-P
Experience with Epic software
Ability to maintain a minimum of 95% coding accuracy
