Job Title: Senior Specialist- Software Engineering (Kafka SME)

Work Location - Irvine, CA

Job Description:
--- Design implement and manage Kafka clusters to ensure high availability and performance
--- Collaborate with development teams to integrate Kafka with various applications
--- Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka clusters to identify and resolve issues
--- Develop and maintain Kafka related documentation and best practices
--- Provide guidance and support to teams on Kafka related queries and challenges
--- Kafka Expertise In depth knowledge of Kafka architecture, configuration and administration
--- AWS Services Basic understanding of AWS services including Policies Roles Service Accounts Secret Manager Route 53 SSM KMS EKS S3 and DynamoDB.
--- Security Understanding of security best practices related to Kafka and AWS services
--- Performance Optimization Ability to optimize Kafka clusters for performance and scalability
--- Troubleshooting Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve Kafka related issues
--- Documentation Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation
--- Bachelor's degree in computer science information technology or a related field
--- Proven experience as a Kafka SME or similar role
--- Familiarity with AWS services and their integration with Kafka
--- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
--- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
--- Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes EKS
--- Knowledge of data storage solutions like S3 and DynamoDB
--- Familiarity with AWS security services such as KMS and Secret Manager
