Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior QC Underwriter responsible for
auditing various loan types to ensure compliance with investor
quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct pre-funding quality control reviews of loans from Retail
and Correspondent divisions
Participate in remediation of identified defects with Operations
and Correspondent Sellers
Monitor QC project pipelines and analyze reports to ensure
deadlines are met
Required Qualifications
10+ years of mortgage industry experience, including 5 years in
Quality Control and Underwriting
Demonstrated understanding of mortgage lending operations related
to Quality Control
Bachelor's degree preferred
Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, USDA guidelines, and TRID
Basic knowledge of fraud detection
