Job Description:
A company is looking for a Chuukese-English Translator, remote,
on a contracted basis.
Key Responsibilities
Translate written content from English to Chuukese with accuracy
and cultural sensitivity
Maintain the tone, style, and meaning of the original text while
ensuring compliance with client-specific guidelines
Conduct research to utilize correct terminology, particularly in
specialized fields (e.g., healthcare, legal, technical)
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in Chuukese and strong command of English
Translation degree
A minimum of 5 years of professional translation experience is
required
Medical healthcare experience is a MUST
Proficiency with translation software (e.g., MemoQ, Phrase,
Wordbee) is preferred
